New Report on MSA Reporting by Local Authorities now out!

Our new report continues the research we have developed since 2015, analysing local authorities and universities’ Modern Slavery Statements under the UK Modern Slavery Act. The latest report of the BHRE on Transparency in Supply Chains Reporting is titled: "UK Modern Slavery Act Transparency in Supply Chains: Reporting by Local Authorities", BHRE Research Series. Report No. 4, September 2020 and is authored by Professor Olga Martin-Ortega and Anna Gorna with the invaluable assistance of Lucrezia Conrradi and Fatimazahra Dehi. Also available in our website.

Dr. Louise Hewitt in ‘Together an Anthology from the COVID pandemic' and the Focus on Why Podcast

BHRE member Dr. Louise Hewitt has been invited to contribute to the ‘Together an Anthology from the COVID pandemic' which includes  a collection of human stories from the COVID-19 pandemic. Proceeds from the sale of the book will be split between the NHS and global organisations working to deal with the issues caused by Covid-19. You can read more here.

She is also a guest on the Focus on Why podcast where great guests, including her, talk about why they do what they do. The podcast has also been nominated in the Listeners Choice category of the British Podcast Awards supported by BBC Sounds.
